Orientation Meeting for Digital Division – Friday 12:00 PM

Official Contest Start – Friday 1:00 PM

Official Contest End – Saturday 1:00 PM

Deadline for Film Division (Film Return) – Saturday 1:00 PM

Deadline for Digital Division (Submit CD with Entries) – Saturday 4:00 PM

Public Light Tables Available – Sunday 7:30 to 10:00 AM
(NOTE: Light tables for slide viewing will be available downstairs for photographers to use. Please limit viewing time to 15-minute intervals; return to light table if needed.)

Slide Pick-up & Editing for Film Division Sunday – 7:30 to 10:00 AM

Slide Submission Entries Due – Sunday NO LATER THAN 10:00 AM

Judging Begins – Sunday 10:00 AM

Photographers Choice Voting – Sunday 10:30 AM

Awards Ceremony – Sunday Begins at 3:30 PM
(NOTE: Digital photographers must be prepared to submit their RAW files to judges during this time if their entries are selected as winners.)

Open on Friday from 12:00 to 7:00 p.m.
Open on Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Open on Sunday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Hocking Hills Dining Lodge Restaurant
Open on Friday from 11 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.; and open on Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.

Video Documentaries of the Hocking Hills (alternately playing in the “Program Room” on the first floor of the Lodge when room is not in use)

FRIDAY 6:30 to 7:00 PM —“Welcome to the Hocking Hills”—in the downstairs Banquet Room of the Lodge — A digital “slide show” featuring photos of the Hocking Hills by Eric Hoffman.

SATURDAY 10:00 AM —“Wildflowers & Waterfalls Hike”
A nature-lovers’ hike at Old Man’s Cave with Naturalist, Pat Quackenbush. Great for the entire family! Meet at the Visitors Center at Old Man’s Cave.

SATURDAY 2:30 to 3:00 PM —“Welcome to the Hocking Hills”
A repeat performance by Eric Hoffman (see above).

SATURDAY 4:30 to 5:30 PM —“Cameras & Critters”
An interactive program (with photo ops!) involving birds of prey and other wildlife presented by Naturalists, Pat Quackenbush and Jamie Kidwell. Subjects include a Red-tailed Hawk, Great Horned Owl, and other critters. Pro photographers will be on hand for photo tips and assistance. Meet at the Naturalist’s Cabin at Old Man’s Cave.

SATURDAY 6:00 to 7:00 PM —“Metering Methods: The Intricacies of Exposure Compensation”—in the downstairs Banquet Room of the Lodge—A session with Steve Barger for both film and digital photographers.

SATURDAY 7:00 to 8:00 PM —“The Art of Hummingbird Photography”—in the downstairs Banquet Room of the Lodge — A session with John Ford for both film and digital photographers.

SUNDAY 10:30 AM —”PHOTOGRAPHERS CHOICE” VOTING—in the downstairs Banquet Room of the Lodge

SUNDAY 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM — “The Finer Points of Depth-of-Field”
—in the downstairs Banquet Room of the Lodge — A session with Stephanie Carson, Photography Instructor, Antonelli College.

SUNDAY 1:30 to 2:30 PM — “Artistic Interpretation-From Inception to Execution”—in the downstairs Banquet Room of the Lodge — A session with Jerry & Barbara Jividen for all photographers and artists.

SUNDAY 3:30 PM —Awards Program & Slide Show —in the downstairs Banquet Room of the Lodge
